ez1099 Software: How to Import 1099-misc or 1099-nec Forms from ezW2 Software
If you used ezW2 software before and need to switch to ez1099, ez1099 can import 1099-misc and 1099-nec data from ezW2 software quickly. (Note: This feature is available within ez1099 2020 and later versions.)
Note:
- ez1099 can import 1099-misc data from ezW2 2019 and earlier versions.
- ez1099 can import 1099-nec data from ezW2 2020 and later versions.
Step 1: Find the ezW2 account
Start ezW2, you can find the current file name from the top menu.
Step 2: Launch ez1099 software and import 1099 data from ezW2 software
2.1 Start ez1099 software. If you have not installed it, you are welcome to download the trial version and test drive it with no obligation.
2.2 Clear recipient list (optional)
If you have test data, please remove it.
2.3 Click the top menu "Imports/Exports" then click the sub menu "Import 1099 Data from ezW2" to view import data screen.
2.4 Click the "Open File" button to select ezW2 database file.
2.5 Check the box "Include settings" to import company setting also.
