ez1099 Software FAQs: How to Back up Tax Form Data

Ez1099 software is the simple, fast and affordable tax forms preparing, printing and eFiling solution for businesses and accountants

There are two options to back up data:
  • 1. Option 1: For business employers and HR managers

  • 2. Option 2: For CPAs who have multiple client accounts

  • Option 1: For small business Employers and HR managers

    Start ez1099 software, click the top menu Company -> Backup company". You can rename and save the database file to other folder or a flash disk or external hard driver or cloud storage space.

    Option 2: For CPAs who have multiple client accounts

    The default data folder is:

    C:\Users\Public\Documents\Halfpricesoft\ez1099(20xx)

    ie: for ez1099 2015, it is ez1099(2015)

    The database file is the .mdb file. You can COPY all .mdb files to other folder or a flash disk or external hard driver or cloud storage space.

    Please do NOT delete the database files from the current folder.
