How to prepare and file ACA forms from multiple locations
ez1095 ACA software makes it easy to prepare and file ACA form 1095 and 1094. If you do not have a server in your company to share data, you can share data with dropbox, Google cloud and other options.
1. Dropbox Business Plan
Yes, multiple users can share the data with Dropbox the same as with a server. Below is the guide.
2. Dropbox Free/Solo Plan (Sync files across devices)
- If you are the only user to prepare forms from multiple locations (e.g. home and office), you can use the Dropbox to sync data.
- If two users will NOT update the forms from the same account concurrently, (for example: one user adds the data, and the other user reviews and print forms from another computer), you can use the Dropbox to sync data.
If multiple users need to update the data from the same account concurrently, we suggest the Dropbox business plan, or a server, or a shared data folder.
When you share the folder and database file on the server, please give FULL CONTROL permission (or at least Read, Write and Execute Permissions) to ezCheckPrinting users.
How can I know I have enough permission to access the database on the server
- Open Windows Explore, navigate to the database folder on the server
- Select the database file by mouse, right click to view properties. You need to have read, write and execute permisson.
