How to Reinstall ezPaycheck Payroll Software from Scratch

Step 1: Log in to the computer as an administrator or a user with permissions to install/uninstall programs.

Step 2: Back up the ezPaycheck data folder. (Do not skip this step!!!)

You can copy all the files in this folder to another location, such as a USB disk or cloud storage.

The default data folder for ezPaycheck is:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Halfpricesoft\ezPayCheck

Step 3: Uninstall ezPaycheck

Step 4: Delete the following two folders: the data folder and the application folder

The default folder for ezPaycheck is
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Halfpricesoft\ezPayCheck

The default application folder is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Halfpricesoft\ezPaycheck

Step 5: Download and install ezPaycheck

Note:
- If your computer caches data, please clean your download folder.

- If you see any issue in this step, please refer to this guide: Common installation issues and solutions

When reinstalling, choose the option to install the software for "Everyone" if possible. This will help prevent most potential permission-related issues.

6.1 Register the license
6.2 add and print a paycheck

If no error, continue.
