ezAccounting Software: How to Record Cash Transactions


You may receive the cash payment. ezAccounting software can record such payment with petty cash account easily.

  • #1: How to record cash payment from customers

  • Double click the desktop ezAccounting icon to start ezAccounting

  • Click the button "Non-inv Sales" under the tab Get Paid on the control panel.

  • Enter Sales Details

  • Choose "Petty Cash" account as the deposit account.

    You can add a transfer to record cash transactions between accounts after you deposit cash to your bank account.

  • Click the top menu "Banking/Checks/Accounts", then the sub menu "Add transfer" to add account transfer information


  • Choose "Petty Cash" as FROM ACCOUNT

  • You can choose savings account or checking account as the TO ACCOUNT.
