What is eCheck(electronic check)?

What is eCheck?

An eCheck is an electronic payment method that enables funds to be transferred directly from the buyer's bank account to the seller's bank account. eChecks are often used for online purchases, bill payments, and other transactions where a traditional paper check may not be practical.

Can I print eCheck myself?

No, you cannot print an eCheck yourself as it is an electronic payment method. The eCheck is generated and transmitted through the buyer's and seller's financial institutions, typically through their online banking systems. Please contact your bank for this feature.

How long does it take for an eCheck to settle?

Typically, eChecks take a few days to clear and settle, with the exact time frame varying depending on the financial institutions involved. eChecks are subject to the same rules and regulations as paper checks, and may be subject to holds or other processing delays in certain circumstances. In some cases, eChecks can clear within 24 hours, while in other cases they may take several days.

If I cannot use eCheck, are there any other options to pay bills or pay employees?

Option 1: You can use ezCheckPrinting to print paper check to pay bills or pay employees. Your vendors or employees can deposit the paper check by using mobile App.

Option 2: You can use eACH software to pay employees(or vendors) with direct deposit. ezACH can generate the ACH file that you can upload to your bank to process the transactions. NACHA Operating Rules require that ACH credits settle in one to two business days and ACH debits settle on the next business day.
