ezPaycheck for Mac: How to Rollback to a Previous Version

Here is the step by step guide how to roll back ezPaycheck payroll software for Mac to a previous version if you installed the new version by mistake.

1. Backup data

For safety, please backup database file if you did not backup data recently.

Option 1: Backup data manually

The default database folder is:
/users/xxxxx/Library/Containers/com.tekplus.ezPaycheck/Data/Documents/Halfpricesoft/ezPaycheck/Databases/xxxxxxx.dat

The database file is .dat file.

You can copy .dat file(s) to other location. (ie: USB, cloud or others)

Option 2: Use ezPaycheck database backup feature

- Start ezPaycheck payroll software then click the top menu "Company->Backup Current Company".

- Back up your data to desktop or USB or cloud or other location.

2. Uninstall the current version by drag the desktop icon to trash can

3. Download the version you need from the download page
