1. Click the left menu "Company Settings" then click the sub menu "Tax Information" to review and make any necessary edits.

2. Federal tax information

Employer Federal Tax ID (EIN):

It is a nine-digit number assigned by the IRS to identify your company.

W3 Control number and W3 Establishment Number:

They are optional fields that many companies leave blank. For clarity, explanations are available by clicking the blue question marks. Employer Federal Tax ID (EIN): It is a nine-digit number assigned by the IRS to identify your company.

Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA):

It's an employer-side tax and won't appear on paycheck stubs. The default tax rate for 2023 is 6%, but some companies may qualify for a 5.4% credit. Verify the appropriate rate with your local IRS office.

3. State tax information

State Tax ID:

It is a unique number used to file state tax returns. If you lack a state ID, you can leave the field blank.

State Unemployment Tax (SUTA):

State unemployment tax rates vary, and you'll typically receive the new SUTA rate and tax up limit document from your state government each year. If unsure, contact your state office.

4. Click "Update" to save your company information.
