How to Truncate Social Security Number on W2 and 1099 Tax Forms

ezW2 makes it easy to print W2 and 1099-nec forms. You can truncate SSN when printing tax forms for recipient copies.

Truncating SSN on W2 & 1099 recipient copies is optional

1. Start ezW2, click the top menu "Company" to view company set up screen.

2. Check the option "Truncate SSN" and save your change.
