How ezACH Works

Most commercial banks offer an ACH deposit interface that can be activated upon request. To use this feature, simply contact your bank to ensure it is enabled for your account.

Customer generates the ACH file and upload it to their bank.

The ezACH software does not process the transactions directly. Instead, it generates the ACH file, which you can upload to your bank. Your bank will then process the transactions according to the instructions within the ACH file. For example, this may include depositing payments for employees, paying vendors, or collecting funds from clients.

The bank processes transactions based on the ACH file

This file contains your bank information, the employee or vendor's bank information, and specific instructions, such as sending payments or collecting funds. The bank will follow the instructions in the ACH file to complete the transactions. Processing typically takes anywhere from several hours to 1-2 business days.
