Personal Check Printing Software: How to transfer check account to a new computer if my old computer is crashed

With ezCheckPersonal check writing software, you can transfer data to a new machine easily with built in backup and restore data features. However, if your machine is crashed, you have to do it manually.

Option 1: If you can still can run ezCheckPersonal on the old machine

If you still be able to run ezCheckPersonal on the old machine, you can use ezCheckPersonal database backup and restore function to move your data data.

Option 2: If your computer is crashed

Step 1: Copy the data to the USB disk first

Connect to the hard driver of the old machine and search for the ezCheckPersonal database files.

The database file is .mdb (Microsoft Database) file. You can copy the mdb files to your USB disk

The default data folder is:
C:/Users/Public/Documents/Halfpricesoft/ezCheckPersonal

Step 2: Download and install ezCheckPersonal on the new computer

Step 3: Copy the data from USB disk to the data folder on the new machine

The default data folder is:
C:/Users/Public/Documents/Halfpricesoft/ezCheckPersonal

Step 4: Switch the current account

Start ezCheckPersonal, click the top menu "Accounts" then "select account". You can should be able to see all the accounts there and switch the current account.
