How to Rollback ezAccounting to the Previous Version

Here is the step by step guide how to roll back ezAccounting payroll software to a previous version if you installed the new version by mistake.

Steps to rollback to ezAccounting previous version:

Step 1: Backup data

Your data should be safe during this process. However, we always suggest customers back up data before downloading the new version.

How to back up data

If you cannot use ezAccounting backup function, you can follow option 2 in the guide to back up the data manually. The default data folder is
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Halfpricesoft\ezAccounting

You can back up this folder or just the .mdb files (Microsoft Access Database files) inside this folder

Step 2: Uninstall the current version of ezAccounting

Step 3: Download the previous version of ezAccounting Software
